Homeopathy can absolutely be an accessible way of treating things like colds, flus, fevers and rashes. However, when you are new at it, homeopathy can feel like you are chasing a chicken.

​If you have never chased a chicken, you really are missing out. It's an experience everyone should have at least once. Chickens are pretty dumb but are masters at not being caught when they set their mind to it. We used to have a huge flock of chickens and my daughter was the chicken whisperer. She was genius at catching a runaway chicken. But, if she wasn't around, we were out of luck and whichever chicken was out of the coop by nightfall was usually a goner.

​Sometimes it can feel like homeopathy is that crazy chicken--always running just in front of us but refusing to be "caught". And if we don't have a homeopath to help us, we can get the idea that homeopathy is impossible--especially with colds, flus, and mysterious rashes. I know I used to feel that way!

​That is why I always recommend beginners have a good stash of combo remedies on hand. The pharmacies that make them have so much experience and put together combos that will often knock it out of the park and get you moving again without having to call in the professionals.
